Media

(VHS, DVDs, Records, CDs, Video Games, Books)

While these physical formats offer nostalgic and entertainment value, there are important factors to consider for your safety and enjoyment:

  • Age & Compatibility: Older content may contain themes or representations that are no longer appropriate by today’s standards. Please review ratings and content warnings where available.

  • Region Restrictions: Some media (especially DVDs and video games) include region locks that limit playback depending on your geographic location.

  • Obsolete Technology: Formats like VHS tapes, cassettes, and older game cartridges may degrade or be incompatible with modern devices. Handle with care and store in cool, dry environments to preserve longevity.

  • Digital Preservation: Consider digitizing older media to ensure long-term accessibility and reduce risk of loss.

  • Content Accuracy: Second-hand media may be incomplete or altered. Verify authenticity and condition before use.

  • Parental Controls: Many visual media items (especially DVDs or games) may include content unsuitable for younger viewers. Implement appropriate restrictions where needed.

  • Online Interaction: Some physical media, especially games, may include online features. Supervise children's online activity and remain cautious of interactions with unknown users.

  • No Content Updates: Physical media does not allow for patches or updates. Video games in particular may contain bugs or outdated features.
     

Resin Products

(Plates, Utensils, Containers, Serveware etc.)
 

While resin products are admired for their aesthetic and handmade appeal, they are not always intended for food use. Resin items, especially handmade ones, can contain chemical additives that, if not fully cured or sealed, may leach into food and pose health risks.
 

Please keep the following precautions in mind:

  • Check Product Specifications: Only use resin products that are explicitly labeled as food-safe or FDA-approved. Avoid using items with no safety labeling for direct food contact.

  • Proper Curing is Essential: If a resin item was not fully cured during production, it may remain chemically active. Products should be fully cured and sealed before coming in contact with food.

  • Avoid Heat Exposure: Resin can break down at high temperatures. Do not use resin items in microwaves, ovens, or with hot food or drinks, unless clearly marked as safe for such use.

  • Inspect Regularly: If you see any cracks, chipping, or surface degradation, discontinue use immediately.

  • Hand Wash Only: Resin items should be gently hand washed. Dishwashers can weaken the resin and cause breakdown over time.
     

When in doubt, enjoy resin-made products for decorative purposes only.

 

Candles & Fragrance Products

Candles, wax melts, and fragrance oils bring warmth and ambiance—but should always be used responsibly:

  • Never leave a lit candle unattended.

  • Keep away from pets, children, and flammable surfaces.

  • Place on heat-resistant surfaces and trim wicks before each use.

  • Do not burn a candle all the way to the bottom—discontinue at ½ inch of remaining wax.

  • Avoid direct skin contact with fragrance oils, and wash hands after use.

  • Burn in ventilated spaces to avoid buildup of scent or soot.
